It contains 0.1% retinol - a gentle enough concentration to cater to sensitive skin or retinol beginners, but sufficient to see the clinical results for which retinol is famed. The formula also uses 0.9% bakuchiol, a plant-extract that has been shown to produce similar, fine-line reducing effects to retinol, but is far kinder to sensitive skin. According to INCI, both Bakuchiol and retinol help generate collagen production and downregulate MMP, the evil collagen-attacking enzyme in our skin. This ultimately leads to firmer, more wrinkle-free skin (huzzah!). Plus, this Heimish oil also contains additional skin superstars adenosine (even more skin-firming credentials), niacinamide and vitamin E.

WHO NEEDS THIS?
Suitable for skin showing the first signs of aging and mature skin. You can also use this on acne-prone skin that's on the dry side of combination, or skin with large pores. It contains a small amount of fragrance (the very last ingredient) that we barely noticed.
HOW DO I USE IT?
After cleansing and toning, massage gently over the face and follow with a moisturizer. Use at night. Because of the retinol content, we recommend a gentle introduction to your skincare routine. What do we mean by that? Use it every second or third night for the first two weeks, and if your skin feels good (no flushing or dryness), you can try using it daily.
Precautions:
Stop using the product immediately and consult a dermatologist when redness, swelling, or other skin irritations occur, and consult a physician. Avoid applying the product on open wounds or skin inflammation. Keep away from direct sunlight and out of reach of infants and children.
