The Houttuynia Cordata & Tea Tree Cleansing Foam from Mary & May is a great cleanser to try on acne-prone skin, if you want to stay away from stronger ingredients such as acids and benzoyl peroxide. The simple foaming formula contains a 40.7% concentration of Houttuynia Cordata and 6.8% tea tree extract. Houttuynia Cordata (or Heartleaf) is a flavonoid-rich leafy green that's been used in traditional Eastern medicine to relieve inflammation and redness. It should calm angry breakouts while also leaving your pores clean.

HOW DO I USE IT?
Apply a small amount (seriously, a little goes a long way) and use water to lather. Massage gently across your face before rinsing off thoroughly in lukewarm water.
