Weleda - Nipple Balm - 25g

Developed by midwives and pharmacists, Weleda Nipple Balm is a fragrance-free balm formulated with all natural ingredients, including lanolin, sunflower seed oil, and organic calendula extract. It offers care for sore nipples, as well as protection from cracked skin and chafing (because breastfeeding AIN'T easy!). Plus, it's gentle enough for frequent use and does not need to be removed before breastfeeding. 

By the way, it's also extremely useful for general chafing (while running or doing other activities).

WHO NEEDS THIS?

For nursing mothers or anyone experiencing chafing.

 

HOW DO I USE IT? 

Apply as needed and after each feed, gently pat the skin dry and/or allow the breast to air. Apply a small amount of balm to the nipple and areola to moisturise and protect the area. There is no need to remove Weleda Nipple Balm before breastfeeding.

Note, sore and damaged nipples may indicate a problem with the way the baby latches. If the problem persists, seek help from a breastfeeding/lactation consultant or health professional.

If you're using this for chafing (particularly from exercise), apply to the chafing-prone areas before activity.

Precautions:
Stop using the product immediately and consult a dermatologist when redness, swelling, or other skin irritations occur, and consult a physician. Avoid applying the product on open wounds or skin inflammation. Keep away from direct sunlight and out of reach of infants and children.
